I was here from out of town, and I had what I thought was a bad alternator. They could have easily replaced it and charged me but was honest and told me it was fine. The battery was bad, and I already had one that was going to be put in...they had my husband bring it to them and they put it in for me. The price was very reasonable. Pugh's is the best place/only place to go for tires and auto maintenance, all in our family are totally happy to be back home.  No chain operation can touch them. I put my care in for a long-running problem with a dash censor that 'the other guys' could not fix. I've now brought 3 of our 4 cars here for oil changes. I was asking the gentleman behind the counter what exactly I wasn't getting that I was paying for at the chain oil change stop here in town. We couldn't think of anything. So, for about half the price, just under $32 for a standard oil change with standard oil you get everything you need for your car. One of our vehicles recommended synthetic oil so it was about twice that price at $65. Either way still much cheaper!  I've dropped off the previous two vehicles and let them work on it at their leisure and they just call you back up and let you know the car is done and ready to pickup.
